These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and Melova regarding your access to and use of the app, website, and related services. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Melova, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf, and the words “you” and “your” will apply to both you and that person or entity.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Melova, its operators, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right; or (d) any content, images, data, or materials you upload, create, share, store, or export through the Service.
Melova may offer consumable virtual currency, including coins, through Apple in-app purchases. Coins may be used only within the Service for eligible premium features, such as premium layout packs, enhanced styles, or HD export options, when available. Coins are licensed, not sold, and have no cash value, no redemption value, and may not be transferred, resold, exchanged, or redeemed for money or anything outside the Service except where required by law.
All purchases are processed through Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment terms and policies. Except where required by applicable law or Apple’s rules, purchases of coins and other digital items are final and non-refundable. Free trial uses, bonus uses, promotional grants, pricing, eligibility, and coin consumption amounts may vary and may be changed, discontinued, or limited at any time.
You are responsible for your use of Melova and for all content you provide, import, capture, edit, store, export, or share through the Service. You must ensure that you have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to use any photos or other materials in connection with the app. You are solely responsible for verifying that your exported collage, arrangement, and shared output are accurate, appropriate, and intended before saving or distributing them.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your device, complying with applicable platform rules, and using the Service in a lawful manner. You understand that Melova is a lightweight collage and layout tool and not a storage guarantee, archival system, social network, or professional image editing suite.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Melova grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. This license permits you to create static photo collages, organize personal images, preview layouts, adjust basic collage settings, and export results through the features made available by the app.
No rights are granted except those expressly stated here. You may not use the Service for commercial exploitation, competitive analysis, unauthorized automation, or any purpose beyond the intended consumer use of the app without prior written permission.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or liability, engaged in unlawful conduct, interfered with the Service, or if suspension is otherwise necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties. We may also discontinue the Service or any feature at our discretion.
You may stop using Melova at any time. Termination or discontinuation will not affect any rights or obligations that by their nature should survive, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
You retain ownership of the photos, images, text, and other content you upload or provide to Melova (“User Content”). Melova does not claim ownership of your User Content. However, by using the Service, you grant Melova a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, copy, process, modify for technical purposes, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the requested collage generation, preview, export, saving, and related app functions.
This license is limited to service delivery. It allows actions such as resizing, cropping, formatting, caching, rendering previews, generating layouts, and temporarily processing content on device or, where needed, through transient cloud-based processing. Any temporary server-side processing files used to generate requested results may be deleted after processing is complete, consistent with our operational practices and applicable law.
Melova uses automated processes to arrange photos, apply templates, and generate collage outputs. Generated previews and exported results are provided for general creative and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that any generated layout will meet your expectations, preserve every detail, maintain a specific composition, or be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated results before saving, sharing, printing, or relying on them. Any reliance on automatically generated output is at your own risk.
You may not use Melova to: violate any law or regulation; infringe, misappropriate, or violate any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; upload or process content you do not have permission to use; distribute malware or harmful code; interfere with or disrupt the Service; attempt unauthorized access to systems or data; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law; use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated means to access or exploit the Service; bypass technical limitations, security measures, or payment mechanisms; engage in fraud, deception, or abusive purchasing behavior; or use the Service to create, store, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, obscene, exploitative, threatening, or otherwise harmful material.
You also may not use Melova as a public content platform, resale service, bulk-processing engine, or hosted design system without our written authorization.
The Service, including its software, interface, design, layout systems, branding, trademarks, logos, text, graphics, templates, compilations, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to Melova and is protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted under these Terms, no right, title, or interest in or to the Service is transferred to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, sell, lease, license, or exploit any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Melova and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or device content, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Melova for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Melova through the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) ten U.S. dollars (US $10.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, technology, legal requirements, or business practices. Updated Terms become effective when posted or on the stated effective date. Your continued use of Melova after revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated agreement.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
Melova is a lightweight photo collage and multi-image layout application designed for everyday photo organization, social sharing, memory keeping, and simple creative output. The Service helps users turn multiple photos into a single clear, visually arranged, and savable static collage image through a streamlined workflow centered on template selection, photo upload, automatic layout generation, aspect ratio selection, light editing, and export.
The core purpose of the Service is to reduce manual editing effort by providing accessible tools such as template-based composition, automatic image fitting, spacing control, rounded corners, border and background customization, and quick export. Melova is not offered as a full-featured professional retouching platform, video editor, public social community, stock marketplace, or advanced layered design tool.
Available features may include a Home page with collage creation entry points, recent projects, template shortcuts, and coin balance; template selection options such as Grid, Vertical Stitch, Free Layout, Before After, and Poster Grid; support for uploading approximately two to nine photos per collage; ratio choices such as square, portrait, or source-width formats; automatic generation of a layout preview; and export of a single static image result.
The editing experience may include the ability to reorder photos, remove or add photos, adjust margins, spacing, corner radius, background color, border styling, and switch templates while retaining uploaded images. The Service may also allow saving to the device photo library, copying images, sharing exported results, regenerating a layout using the same source photos, storing recent collage history locally on the device, copying settings for reuse, and deleting individual or all local history records.
Some enhanced features may require coins or similar consumable digital items purchased through Apple in-app purchases. These premium options may include advanced layout packs, enhanced styles, or HD export cards. Basic collage creation functions, including standard templates, ordinary layout generation, light editing, normal export, and local history, may remain available without payment, while premium options may be limited by free trial uses, promotional access, or coin balances.
Melova may request access to your photo library to import images, permission to save exported collages back to your device library, and camera access if you choose to capture a new photo for a collage. Photos and collage parameters may be processed locally on your device and, when operationally necessary, through temporary cloud-based processing to generate requested layouts. Local collage settings, history, and exported results may be stored on your device until you delete them. Temporary server-side files used only to provide requested processing may be removed after processing is completed. The Service is designed around data minimization and on-demand permissions.
Melova is intended to help users complete a simple workflow: start a new collage, choose a template and export ratio, upload multiple images, review a layout preview, adjust light parameters, generate a final collage, and then save or share the result. Features, layouts, limits, ratios, templates, coin consumption rules, and interface details may change over time.
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melova disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and quiet enjoyment.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, virus-free, timely, or compatible with every device, operating system, file type, or image source, or that defects will be corrected.
You must be at least 17 years old to use Melova. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 17 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you further represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not meet these requirements, you may not access or use the Service.
Melova is offered on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service, or any feature within it, will be available at all times or in all regions, or that it will continue in its current form for any specific period. Maintenance, updates, technical problems, platform changes, third-party dependencies, and other events may affect functionality or access.
We reserve the right to modify, replace, limit, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except to the extent superseded by mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. You agree that any legal interpretation of these Terms will be made in a manner that gives effect to their lawful and enforceable meaning.
