This Privacy Notice explains how Melova collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app. Melova is a photo collage and layout app that allows users to import photos, arrange them into templates, edit layout settings, export collage images, and store recent project history on the device. We are committed to data minimization and only handle information necessary to provide the app’s features. We do not operate a public social network, do not provide user-to-user public galleries, and do not use your content for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.
This notice applies to information processed through the Melova iOS app, including photos you choose to import, exported collage files, app settings, purchase-related records, and limited technical information required for app stability and support.
We use information only to operate and improve the core functions of Melova, such as importing photos, generating collage layouts, previewing edits, exporting images, restoring local history, processing in-app purchase entitlements, maintaining app security, and responding to support requests.
We do NOT use your information for advertising. We do NOT use your information for user profiling. We do NOT sell your personal information or your content. We do NOT use your photos, projects, exports, or any other user data for AI training or model improvement.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures may include encrypted transmission where applicable, access controls, limited internal access on a need-to-know basis, secure infrastructure practices, and deletion of temporary processing data after use.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to maintain safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed by the app. Users should also protect their devices with current operating system updates, passcodes, and backup practices.
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice.
Melova is intended for users age 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a child under 17 has provided information to us, please contact us so that we can review the situation and delete the information if appropriate.
Melova does NOT perform facial recognition. Melova does NOT perform biometric analysis. Melova does NOT create, collect, store, or share face templates, faceprints, or any biometric identifiers. The app is designed for photo layout and collage generation only.
If a photo uploaded by a user contains a person’s face, the image is processed only as ordinary visual content for collage rendering. We do not identify individuals, infer identity, evaluate facial attributes, or analyze biometric characteristics. Any temporary image data used during processing is deleted after processing is completed, except for content you choose to save locally.

Depending on your location and the location of infrastructure used to operate the app, information may be processed in countries or regions other than your own. Where such transfers occur, we take reasonable steps to ensure information remains protected under appropriate safeguards and contractual protections consistent with applicable law.
Because users may access the app from different jurisdictions and technical infrastructure may operate across multiple regions, processing may occur where our servers or service providers maintain facilities for hosting or delivery of basic infrastructure services.
Any AI-assisted or algorithmic processing used by Melova is performed exclusively on our own internal servers. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing occurs on our own servers only.
User photos, generated collages, layout settings, and other content are processed solely to provide the requested app function. We do NOT use user data to train models, retrain models, fine-tune systems, evaluate models for commercial improvement, or optimize AI systems for future unrelated use. Processing data is deleted after the requested task is completed, except where you choose to save outputs locally or where limited records must be retained for support, security, or legal reasons as described in this notice.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user data. We do NOT share any user-uploaded or user-generated content with any third party. We do NOT use any third-party AI services to process user data. All AI processing is performed exclusively on our own internal servers.
We may use a limited number of third-party service providers only for cloud storage, server hosting, or basic infrastructure operations necessary to run the app. Any such providers act solely on our behalf and under our instructions. They are bound by contractual obligations to ensure data security and are NOT permitted to use user data for any purpose beyond what we instruct.

Melova does not rely on traditional web browser cookies in the same way a website does, but the app or embedded service components may use local storage, identifiers, or similar technologies strictly for app functionality, security, diagnostics, or infrastructure operations. We do NOT use cookies or similar technologies for advertising profiling.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, security practices, or data handling practices. When we make material changes, we may update the notice within the app or revise the date shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of Melova after an updated notice becomes effective indicates acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
By downloading, accessing, or using Melova, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice. Your use of the app means you agree to the collection, use, storage, and handling of information as described here. If you do not agree with this notice, please do not use the app and remove it from your device.
